Installation & Care

• Surface prep: Ensure the floor area is clean, level, and dry before spreading. A containment border or frame is recommended to keep the salt in place.
• Spreading: Distribute evenly to your desired depth. A depth of 1"–2" is typical for salt room flooring applications.
• Moisture: Salt is hygroscopic — store unused salt in a dry location and keep away from direct water contact outside of intended sauna or salt room use.
• Cleaning: Rake or redistribute as needed. Remove debris with a dry method. Do not use water or liquid cleaners directly on salt surfaces.
• Bulk orders: Bulk quantities (1,100 lb and 2,200 lb) ship via motor freight. Coordinate delivery access accordingly.
